Loop Returns builds return management software for direct-to-consumer brands on Shopify, operating on the principle that a customer who encounters a smooth exchange process is more likely to spend again than one handed a refund. Its roster includes Brooklinen, Chubbies, and Madhappy.
In December 2024 Loop acquired Wonderment, an order-tracking platform, extending its reach across the post-purchase journey. That same year it partnered with Poshmark to route unexchanged returns into resale inventory rather than destruction, addressing the growing cost and waste of e-commerce returns.
The bet is that most e-commerce brands are leaving revenue on the table by treating returns as a cost center to minimize rather than a touchpoint to convert. Loop's growth from $4.7M to $53M in three years suggests a significant portion of the market agrees.
WHY IT STANDS OUT
Grew annual revenue from $4.7 million in 2021 to $53.3 million in 2024, one of the sharper growth curves in e-commerce SaaS over that period.
Helped DTC brands retain over $400 million in revenue through exchanges rather than refunds, with Shopify participating as an investor to validate the integration fit.
Partnered with Poshmark in January 2025 to redirect unexchanged returns into resale, giving brands a circular commerce option instead of destruction or landfill.
